Here's some food for thought...

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind." [by Gandhi]
"If you want to take your mission in life to the next level, if you’re stuck and you don’t know how to rise, don’t look outside yourself. Look inside. Don’t let your fears keep you mired in the crowd. Abolish your fears and raise your commitment level to the point of no return, and I guarantee you that the Champion Within will burst forth to propel you toward victory.” [by Bruce Jenner ]
"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are millions of ways to kneel and touch the ground” [by Rumi ]

Dear Mr. President...

Dear Mr. President,
Come take a walk with me
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye, and tell me why?
Dear Mr. President
Were you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
How can you say
No child is left behind?
Were you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
Are you a lonely boy
How can you say
No child is left behind?
We're not dumb and we're not blind
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pay the road to hell
What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye
How do you walk with your head held high
Can you even look me in the eye
Let me tell you about hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you about hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you about hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you about hard work
Hard work
Hard work
You don't know nothing about hard work
Hard work
Hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you about hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you about hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you about hard work
Hard work
Hard work
You don't know nothing about hard work
Hard work
Hard work
Oh
How do you sleep at night
How do you walk with your head held high
Dear Mr. President
You'd never take a walk with me, would you..?
How do you sleep at night
How do you walk with your head held high
Dear Mr. President
You'd never take a walk with me, would you..?

Sharapova wins in Madrid !

(6) Maria Sharapova (RUS)
vs.
(8) Daniela Hantuchova (SVK)
One player who knows how to triumph at the prestigious season-ending event is 2004 champion, Sharapova. The 20-year-old former world No.1 has had to contend with a shoulder injury for much of 2007, but has still managed several notable achievements - including a title run in San Diego and a runner-up finish at the Australian Open. Meeting her in the Red Group's opening match-up is one of the year's most consistent performers, Hantuchova. Although the Slovak star only secured her spot at the Spanish showpiece little more than a week ago, title runs in Indian Wells and Linz prove she certainly has the temperament to triumph on the big occasions. While Sharapova has won the past five encounters between the pair, the last of these was more than 12 months ago and on current form Hantuchova will be confident of enacting revenge this time around.
